Sophie joined the Vanbrugh Physio team in 2022. She initially started training in beauty therapy, but pivoted to massage therapy and has been practising since 2015. It was her growing interest in the anatomy of the body that led her to pursue further training in a variety of massage techniques and from that point forward, she never looked back.
A deeply personal experience in 2020 strengthened her commitment to massage therapy. When her beloved grandmother suffered a stroke and lost sensation on her right side, Sophie would gently work on her grandmother’s legs and feet using soft tissue techniques. During these moments, she witnessed her grandmother’s eyes light up, seeming to emerge from the fog of her condition. Seeing her grandmother more at ease and visibly comforted left a lasting impact. It reinforced just how powerful therapeutic touch can enhance someone’s quality of life.
Today, Sophie continues to bring that same compassion and purpose to her practice. She is passionate about building strong connections with her clients and takes great pride in supporting their health and wellbeing goals. She is thrilled to be part of the Vanbrugh Physio team, working alongside dedicated colleagues who share her commitment to care and excellence.

Sophie is half Turkish and has an Irish and Welsh background. She also has a background in musical theatre and was once in a Bollywood film.
