Jacqui Norton-Old

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jacqui earned her physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and began her career at Peninsula Health, a public healthcare provider in Victoria, Australia. During her time there, she gained broad clinical experience across multiple specialties, but it was musculoskeletal physiotherapy that quickly became her focus. She was drawn by the problem-solving nature of the work and the satisfaction of helping patients return to full function.

Since moving to London in 2006, Jacqui has worked across various NHS outpatient settings before transitioning to private practice in 2016. Her experience spans post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, ergonomic-related conditions, and workplace assessments for corporate clients. She has also provided pitch-side support for amateur football teams, helping athletes recover and return to peak performance.

Jacqui takes a holistic approach to treatment, combining manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, and patient education to reduce pain, restore movement, and deliver long-term results. She places strong emphasis on understanding biomechanics and empowering her patients through every stage of their recovery.

Originally from Australia, Jacqui grew up as a competitive swimmer and middle-distance runner. She was always keen to try her hand at any sport. She now stays active chasing after her two young daughters, fitting in gym sessions, and enjoying the occasional yoga class. On weekends, she’s often out exploring London or taking short trips whenever the opportunity arises.

An interesting fact no one would know:

She was chess champion of grade 6 at primary school.
