Dimitar joined the Vanbrugh Physio team in November 2024. His journey into physiotherapy began during his teenage years when he discovered Yumeiho—a Japanese form of holistic manual therapy. This early exposure sparked a lasting interest in the human body and a commitment to helping others heal and achieve optimal well-being.

Dimitar earned his bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in 2013 from the Medical College in Varna, Bulgaria, and went on to complete a master’s degree in physiotherapy at the National Sports Academy in Sofia in 2018. His academic foundation is complemented by a diverse clinical background, both in the UK and abroad.

In the UK, Dimitar has worked in private practice and within the NHS. Internationally, he has held senior physiotherapy roles and has gained extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions. His areas of expertise include sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and treatment of cardio-respiratory, paediatric, neurological, and oncological conditions.

Dimitar is dedicated to combining his clinical knowledge, hands-on skills, and holistic approach to support each client on their journey to recovery and improved health.

An interesting fact no one would know:

Dimitar had the privilege of working with athletes, including members of the Bulgarian, Brazilian, and Italian national volleyball teams.
