What is Diagnostic Ultrasound?

Here at Vanbrugh Physio, we offer patients a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment with a diagnostic ultrasound scan. The session will be carried out by our experienced specialist, Chris Pruvey.

He will leverage diagnostic ultrasound scanning – which uses real-time imaging – to assess inflammation, tears, degeneration, and other soft tissue injuries. Unlike static imaging such as X-rays, ultrasound allows us to evaluate tissues during movement, providing a clearer understanding of the true source of your pain.

Arthrosamid for knee osteoarthritis

Knee osteoarthritis is a chronic condition in which the protective cartilage in the knee gradually breaks down and bones begin to make contact with each other which leads to stiffness, swelling and ongoing pain. Symptoms typically progress over time and can significantly limit day-to-day movement.

Knee osteoarthritis can be painful and debilitating – but our expert ultrasound-guided injections specialist can provide you with effective, long-lasting treatment options like Arthrosamid® to help you regain confidence in your movement.

Arthrosamid® is an advanced injectable hydrogel that offers long-term relief from knee osteoarthritis pain. This minimally invasive treatment is designed to improve comfort, mobility and overall quality of life – without requiring surgery.

If you’re interested in exploring whether this treatment is right for you, please call our reception team or book an Arthrosamid® Consultation appointment through our online booking portal.
