Bio:
Sport has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in Australia, I played a wide range of sports, but it was field hockey that stuck with me. I competed at various levels throughout my teens, including state and national competitions, and I continue to play here in the UK. It was during these years of intense sport that I found myself spending more time than I would like to admit with various physiotherapists for everything from minor niggles to more serious injuries.
This exposure to physiotherapy sparked my interest in the field, and I became fascinated by the methods and techniques physiotherapists use to help athletes and everyday people recover and perform at their best. This was when my drive to help others recover and reach their full potential really began.
I completed my Physiotherapy degree at Monash University in Melbourne Australia, where I graduated with a first-class honours. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both amateur and professional sports settings, including spending a year working with the Australian Football League (AFL) when I was still a student. My experience in these environments has given me invaluable insight into the demands of sport and the importance of effective rehabilitation.
In addition to my sports experience, I have also worked the last couple of years in a private practice in Australia, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and helping people of all ages return to the activities they love.
Now that I’m in London, I’m excited to continue my journey and help my patients achieve their goals-whether that’s getting back to sport or simply improving their day-to-day movement and mobility. The best part of being a physio is the ability to combine hands-on treatment with education, helping people understand their bodies and empowering them to take control of their recovery. I am particularly passionate about not only helping people improve their pain but also guiding them through the rehabilitation process, using a tailored approach that includes manual therapy, strengthening exercises, and movement strategies to get them back to their best.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me on the hockey field, staying active, or exploring all that London has to offer. I’m passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and I enjoy working with patients from all walks of life, helping them reduce pain and reach their own personal health goals.
