Testimonial:

When I hurt my back, I chose Vanbrugh Physio to have a look at it and to advise further course of action. I could have not made a better choice. Their premises are of an extremely high standard and they have all the necessary equipment, including a gym. The staff at the reception is fabulous and always happy to help. They accept treatments covered by private insurance providers and it was very easy to sort this out. I would like to personally thank here Mr Regis da Silva, who has been looking after me. Thanks to his knowledge and his amazing approach to patients, my therapy was a big success. The pain in my back has gone and so has the nerve irritation. I can now go about my day as I did before the injury. It has been absolute pleasure dealing with Mr da Silva and I can definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of a physiotherapy.

Bio:

Hi I’m Regis and I became interested in Physiotherapy after I observed the importance of recovering the movements of the body after painful injuries. I have always loved biomechanics, so when I realised that I could apply movement, the knowledge of body functions plus mechanics to improve function, I was fascinated.

This led me to go to the University to become a Physiotherapist, working as a teaching assistant in kinesiology / biomechanics while studying physiotherapy and getting involved in research and supporting new students who had joined the Physiotherapy course.

As life is not always that simple and we are not machines, I started to build up further knowledge along the years with further studies and experience into a biopsychosocial model approach after courses done with physiotherapists from Australia.

I continue to love learning and look forward to being able to apply my knowledge and experience to my work here at Vanbrugh Physio.

An interesting fact about you no one would know (until now):
I have treated a few professional footballers and Mixed Martial Fighters over the years working as physiotherapist in Brazil, Italy and the UK.
