OUR SERVICES

Physiotherapy

Living with pain, restricted movement or the constant fear of a setback in your recovery is no fun.

At its core, physio is about helping you get back to moving freely, functioning normally and living without pain!

Our highly-skilled physiotherapists can treat a wide range of conditions and are committed to helping you get back to doing the things you love to do.

Our whole body approach starts with really tuning into what’s going on for you, so that we can get to the root cause of your problem and create a customised treatment plan that’s as unique as you are.

This will likely include hands on treatment techniques, an exercise program for you to do at home, as well as tips on improving your posture, the way you move and even how you breath.

Our team will expertly guide you through your unique plan, supporting you every step of the way.

As a result, many of our clients experience permanent relief from pain, allowing them to move better, live better and achieve things they never thought possible.

5 Things Your Physio Should Do On Your First Appointment

Sports massage therapy

Sports massage is a firm, deep tissue treatment that can release unwanted tension, improve flexibility, reduce pain and help to enhance the healing process.

Our professionally trained therapists will help restore your body to its optimum balance, easing away the symptoms and causes of fatigue, stress, injury and the everyday strains your body has to deal with.

Your appointment will include time for your therapist to talk through any pain or injuries you are experiencing, how these are impacting your day to day life and any treatment program you are currently undergoing.

Our massages are then tailored to each individual and many of our clients choose to continue their massage therapy after their physiotherapy treatment has finished. Please note, you don’t need to be a sports person, or seeing one of our physiotherapists, to enjoy the extensive benefits of sports massage.

Sports injury management

We know that, for many of our clients, exercising, playing sport and staying active is an important part of their life.

But, we also know that things can go wrong and injuries can occur.

The physical demands on your body can be great, especially in sports that require you to move fast, come into contact with other players or perform complex movements.

Strenuous or repetitive exercise can also take its toll, with any weakness in the body starting to cause problems.

At Vanbrugh Physiotherapy, we have a wealth of experience in treating everything from major sports injuries to niggling pains that just won’t go away.

Through understanding why you were injured, and assessing what’s going on in your body, we can create an effective rehabilitation program that will help you build the strength, flexibility and coordination you need to ensure the injury does not reoccur.
