Bio:

Hi I’m Bianca and I joined the Vanbrugh family in October 2021. I was fortunate to have grown up in a small farming community near the Kruger National Park in South Africa. On completing school, I went to study Physiotherapy at The University of Pretoria.

In line with our practical training, we are exposed to all types of Physio from community work to orthopaedic patients, and sports injuries. What peaked my interest was that no matter how small the ailment the impact you have as a health professional is always positive.

Living and working in an overseas country has always been a dream of mine and I am very fortunate that I was given the opportunity to join the team here at Vanbrugh Physio. Moving to a new country on your own is always daunting but everyone here has made the transition so easy and welcoming. From the professional knowledge which is shared so freely, to their kind words and keenness to help patients, this is something I hold dear to myself.

While the science of Physio has always been an interest of mine, I remain first and foremost a people person, and therefore enjoy connecting with my patients. We are on the journey to your recovery, together.

When not at work I enjoy keeping active, exploring the city as well as the rest of the UK and being outdoors (when the weather allows)!

An interesting fact about you no one would know (until now):
I play 2 musical instruments (piano and clarinet) and have a goal to teach myself to learn how to play the Saxophone one day.
